What you'll do: Sitting at the hub of the organization in the President's Office, this position is a trusted colleague with an eagle's eye view of the entire breadth of Corus. You will support the CEO and Executive Coordinator to ensure smooth operations that enable us to achieve our important mission. This includes tracking tasks and initiatives; planning and executing logistical arrangements for events and meetings; preparing the CEO for both internal and external meetings and travel; ensuring timely communications and follow-up; and developing materials as necessary. You'll also be the right-hand of the Assistant Board Secretary, assisting with tasks related to the Corus International Board of Directors and Boards of Corus' subsidiaries. This position works closely with the tight-knit President's Office team to connect the dots across the organization and create an engaging, supportive, impactful culture. This is a fast-paced opportunity for someone who enjoys helping an organization function seamlessly.

About The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be positive and collaborative with great interpersonal skills and a willingness to "pitch" in as needed. You will have a strong sense of urgency and the willingness to assume a variety of projects with grace under pressure. At the same time, you will have a strong attention to detail and a good sense of quality control for your work. This position has a strong element of customer service, which requires clear communications and the ability to work with diverse backgrounds and styles. You must be able to handle confidential matters with discretion and maintain a good sense of judgement. It also includes plenty of opportunity for creativity and problem solving.

Requirements: This role requires a 4-year degree and 2 or more years of experience supporting an executive. You must have advance computers skills (MS Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and experience using social media platforms for business and research. You should be a strong writer who is able to synthesize and summarize complex materials and extract key themes and critical points. It's a plus if you've worked in a nonprofit environment.
