What You'll Do: You will lead Lutheran World Relief's longest running program, our Quilt & Kit Ministry. Making LWR Mission Quilts and Kits is a tangible way to express love to our neighbors in need. As the leader of the Quilt & Kit Ministry Team, you will partner with thousands of volunteers and congregations across the country to provide a powerful opportunity for individuals to put their faith in action. You will lead the team to raise $13mil annually in quilts and kits, empower volunteers to inspire and organize, and provide strategic direction that will drive growth and innovation for the future. Some days will be spent connecting with quilters and kit-makers across the country on the phone, online and occasionally in-person. Other days will be spent leading strategic initiatives, guiding staff, managing details and troubleshooting. Everyday will be spent leading a powerful ministry that is making a lifesaving difference in the lives of our neighbors.

Location: Baltimore, MD preferred; Remote possible for an exceptional candidate

You can manage a multifaceted ministry, set a creative and strategic vision, and tend to important details. Requirements: This role requires a minimum of a four-year college degree. At least five years of experience with increasing responsibilities in relationship management is required, including experience working with congregations or individuals with significant philanthropic capacity. This position could sit in one of our offices in Baltimore, MD or St. Paul, MN, or could work remotely.
